No two pilgrims want exactly the same trip. Some want a simple, value-focused Umrah with the shortest possible walk to the Haram; others want a longer stay split evenly between Makkah and Madinah with a premium suite in each city; and many are travelling as a family group with a mix of ages and budgets to accommodate under one plan. A bespoke quote lets us build around your priorities rather than fitting you into a fixed departure.
Why a fixed package does not suit everyone
Pre-built packages are convenient because the pricing and itinerary are set in advance, but they are, by definition, a compromise designed to suit an average traveller. If you need a specific number of nights in each city, a particular hotel, a departure airport that isn't on the standard list, or you are combining Umrah with a visit to relatives elsewhere in Saudi Arabia, a fixed package will rarely match what you actually need.
A customised quote removes that compromise. You tell us the shape of the trip you want, and we price the individual components — flights, hotels, visa, transport and any extras — around that shape, rather than asking you to adjust your plans to fit an existing brochure.
Step one: your dates and duration
We start with your preferred travel window and how flexible it is. Even a few days of flexibility either side of your ideal dates can open up better flight fares or hotel availability, so we will always ask whether your dates are fixed or approximate. From there we work out how many nights make sense in Makkah and how many in Madinah, based on how you would like to split your time.
Step two: your comfort level
Comfort level is really a combination of three things: how close to the Haram you want to stay, what star rating and room quality you expect, and whether you would like extras such as half-board meals or airport lounge access. We work across the full range, from practical three-star hotels a short walk or shuttle ride from the Haram, through to suites in towers such as the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower with a direct view of the Kaaba.
There is no need to know exactly which hotel you want at this stage — describing your budget and priorities is enough for us to shortlist genuinely suitable options.
Step three: building the quote
Once we understand your dates, group size, room configuration and comfort level, we price every component as one combined figure: flights, hotel nights in both cities, Umrah visa processing, and airport and intercity transfers. We show this as a single, clear total per person rather than a list of separate add-ons that grows as you go through the booking process elsewhere.
If your brief includes anything unusual — a stopover city on the way home, a request to travel with an elderly relative who needs a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, or a group split across different room types — we account for it in the same quote rather than treating it as a separate negotiation afterwards.
Step four: confirming and travelling
Once you are happy with the quote, a deposit secures your prices for flights and hotels, which are otherwise subject to change based on availability. From that point, our team manages visa processing, issues your e-tickets closer to departure, and confirms all transfers, so the only thing left for you to do before travelling is pack.
What to include in your brief
- Preferred or acceptable travel dates, and how flexible they are
- Number of travellers, ages of children if applicable, and any mobility needs
- Preferred UK departure airport or airports you could use
- Number of nights wanted in Makkah and in Madinah
- Hotel comfort level or specific hotels you have in mind
- Any special requests — anniversaries, group discounts, additional cities to visit
Group and family bookings
Customised quotes are especially useful for extended family or community groups, where different members may want different room types under one overall itinerary — for example, a couple wanting a Haram-view double alongside grandparents in a quieter room on a lower floor with easier lift access. We coordinate these variations under a single group booking reference so payments, documents and travel dates stay aligned for everyone.
Turnaround time
We aim to return every custom brief with a full written quote within one working day, and often much sooner when submitted during UK office hours. If your brief involves checking live availability with several hotels, we will let you know upfront if it will take a little longer to confirm every detail.
